
Company PersonnelPAT KELMAN Pat Kelman was raised in Cornwall, living in Troon, Portreath and Camborne. He was a boarder at Launceston College and studied A Levels at Cornwall College. Over the years Pat has worked as a tour guide at Poldark Mine, a holiday rep in Greece and as a taxi driver in Camborne. The early 90s were spent teaching at Newquay Tretherras School for five years where he was Deputy Head of English. In 1995 he left the County to work as an actor in London, where his credits include THE GAMBLER directed by Mel Smith, THE ODYSSEY directed by Andrei Konchalovsky, LIGHTHOUSE directed by Simon Hunter and ONE HELL OF A CHRISTMAS directed by Shaky Gonzalez. He is a regular artist with the Cornish Theatre Collective. He can currently be seen in a regular supporting role in the BBC sitcom MY HERO, and in Danny Spring's short film HELP. Pat has an extensive background as a theatre director, and has directed the short films THE TAXI, WONDER WORKING MAGICIAN and BAD KORMA. His first feature film as director, ENCOUNTERS, is currently doing the Festival Circuit. Pat is a member of the New Producers' Alliance and the Directors' Guild of Great Britain. |
